Thursday at the Theater: T&C Hosts a Special Screening of Carol with the Cinema Society

Town & Country and The Cinema Society brought big names and big movies together last night for a special screening of the film Carol, starring Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara. From the film to the fête that followed, the evening was one to remember.

Heavyweights in fashion (Valentino, Prabal Gurung, Rachel Roy, Jenna Lyons, Nanette Lepore, and more), film (Michelle Monaghan, Gina Gershon, Alysia Reiner, Warren Elgort, Christiane Seidel, to name a few) and more filled Florence Gould Hall Theater to see Carol in all its 1950s-inspired glory.

Guests sipped signature Carol cocktails from QUI, named after characters in the film: Therese (pronounced Terez, and made with QUI tequila, fresh lime, cointreau, and blood orange) and Carol (QUI tequila, fresh lime, pear, jalapeño, and cinnamon syrup).
